Participants will hike 1.5 miles through a portion of the 3,100-acre conservation area, partially on established trails, and partially off-trail through natural vegetation to access views not often seen by visitors. Hikers will learn key features of the trails, discuss animals and plants commonly encountered at the area, how forest and woodland ecosystems work, and management efforts that have improved habitat and overall beauty of the area. Hikers should wear long pants and sturdy shoes, dress for the weather, and bring their own drinking water, lunch or a snack, and binoculars, if they wish. Angela George
Location Information

Danville Conservation Area is located two miles south of Danville, MO in Montgomery County at the end south end of Hwy RB
Directions:

From I-70 Danville Exit, take the south outer road east 2 miles, then Route RB south to the end of the hwy, turn left (east) and follow gravel through the area to the bottom of the hill to the easternmost parking lot.

Age Policy:

All registrants for this event must be between 14 and 100 years of age by 5/28/2022.
