Ages 11 and up Join naturalists at Rockwoods Reservation on a hike through the woods to find and identify common mushrooms. Spring is great time to find mushrooms in Missouri, including the coveted morel! Participants will learn how to identify edible mushrooms, such as the morel, and other common mushrooms. Must be able to hike 1.5 miles with a 200 foot elevation gain. For the safety of participants and our staff, MDC asks all guests to observe social distancing guidelines and maintain at least 6 feet from others. Bringing and wearing face coverings is encouraged when indoors, or any time visitors are unable to maintain at least 6 feet from others. Local ordinances requiring face masks will be observed where applicable. Rena Schmidt
